Take a full-day tour with a Russian-speaking guide to discover the region of Western Galilee. Your tour begins with a visit to Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital. Walk past archeological sites, ancient buildings, and ruins. Explore the amphitheater of King Herod, the Palace on the Reef, and discover the remains of Roman and Byzantine streets. Continue north to Haifa, stopping at the Baha’i Gardens. Enjoy magnificent views of the gardens and out over the city, including the Haifa port area. The gardens are divided into nineteen terraces arranged around a tomb at the center. Admire the many species of plants, decorative fountains, and the gilded dome of the tomb. Drive south to nearby city of Acre, known as the crusader city. Explore its museums and the ancient market, wandering through a maze of alleyways. See the ancient port and the fortresses of the Crusaders, passing mosques and Turkish baths. Discover the city’s history, including its links to the Knight’s Templars. Afterwards, you’ll be dropped back at your original starting point.
