In the morning, the shuttle will pick you up and you’ll depart on an hour-long drive along the Mediterranean coast to the Kibbutz Ma’agan Michael. One of the residents will welcome you and introduce you to the unique lifestyle in a collective community. Based on socialist principles, with people living and working on the same land and being paid equal allowances, Kibbutzim today play a significant role in Israel’s manufacturing and agricultural sectors. Learn about the history and culture in the lush seaside community, as you pass art workshops, a zoological garden, the enormous fish pools, all the way to the scenic Mediterranean coast.
