Itinerary

Day 1: Jerusalem – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Petra

Start with an early morning pickup from Jerusalem and transfer to the King Hussein (Allenby) Bridge for border formalities. Meet your local Jordanian guide and travel through Jordan’s desert landscapes.

Stop in Madaba to see the famous 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have viewed the Promised Land, with panoramic views over the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Jerusalem on clear days.

Proceed south along the Desert Highway to Wadi Musa (Petra). Check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Petra.

Day 2: Petra – Wadi Rum – Eilat

After breakfast, explore Petra with a local guide. Enter through the Siq Canyon by walking or horseback ride, leading to the Treasury. Visit key sites like the Nabataean Theatre, royal tombs, carved façades, and the Colonnaded Street.

Head south to Wadi Rum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pass the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and the Visitors Centre, then embark on a 2-hour open jeep safari led by a local Bedouin guide. See Lawrence’s Spring, Ghazali Gorge rock inscriptions, and desert landscapes.

In the late afternoon, cross the border into Israel at the Arava Border and transfer to Eilat Bus Station. From here, you can continue by bus to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, or stay in Eilat.
