Begin your tour with a panoramic view of Jerusalem’s skyline from Mount Scopus. Enter the Old City through the 500-year-old Zion Gate and explore the Armenian Quarter. In the Jewish Quarter, visit the Byzantine-era Cardo and pause at the Western Wall, a central Jewish site.
Follow the path of Jesus along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a 4th-century structure that includes the sites of the crucifixion and Christ’s tomb. Continue through the Old City bazaar to experience its varied atmosphere.
Later, visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, then view the Kidron Valley, home to ancient Jewish tombs. On Mount Zion, pass the Dormition Church and see the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb.
Note: On Mondays and Thursdays (except Jewish holidays), the tour replaces Mount Zion sites and the Church of All Nations with a visit to the Holocaust Museum (Yad Vashem).
