Description
Depart from Tel Aviv and travel through the Judean Hills, passing the Inn of the Good Samaritan and the sea level marker. Descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, known for its turquoise waters and white salt crust.
At Masada, a 450-meter-high plateau, take the cable car to the summit to explore Herod’s fortress ruins, a historic symbol of Jewish resilience.
Continue along the Dead Sea coast passing Ein Gedi and Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Time permitting, visit the Dead Sea Mineral Cosmetic factory.
End the day at a Dead Sea beach where you can float in the salt-rich water, breathe oxygen-rich air, and use the mineral-rich black mud as a natural skin treatment.
