Description

This guided tour explores Bethlehem, home to the Nativity Church, the world’s oldest Christian church marking the birthplace of Jesus. A local Christian guide leads the visit, including a stop to view Banksy’s graffiti art on the separation wall, with refreshments of Arabic coffee and tea at a local souvenir shop.

The tour continues through the Judean Desert, featuring a stop at the Dead Sea Level Point for photos with camels against desert landscapes. Enjoy panoramic views of the Judean Desert and ancient Jericho.

At the Dead Sea, experience floating effortlessly in the salty, mineral-rich waters. Take time to apply therapeutic Dead Sea mud for a revitalizing effect. The facility offers a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, a shop selling Dead Sea products, and swimwear and accessories, along with shower amenities.

Itinerary

• Pick-up from Tel Aviv (in front of the Grand Beach Hotel).
• Pick-up from Jerusalem (in front of the David Citadel Hotel).
• Meet the local guide after crossing the checkpoint, visit Banksy Hotel for wall graffiti, optional Banksy Museum visit (entrance fee approx. $8).
• Proceed to Bethlehem, the biblical birthplace of Jesus.
• Visit Manger Square and the Nativity Church, a 4th century AD church built around Jesus’ birthplace.
• Stop at a local olive wood factory for souvenir shopping, coffee break, and restroom facilities.
• Rest for 10 minutes at the Dead Sea Level Point with views over the Judean Desert.
• Arrive at the Dead Sea to float in the salty waters and apply mineral-rich mud.
• Return to drop-off points in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv (same locations as pick-up).
