Okinawa Sushi Restaurant
Tel Aviv
At a glance
Okinawa Sushi Restaurant is a Japanese restaurant and authentic sushi bar on Shabazi Street in Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv. The venue focuses on Japanese cuisine in a format that combines a sushi bar with a restaurant setting, making it suited to diners looking for a dedicated Japanese meal rather than a broad international menu.
The restaurant’s character is closely tied to sushi-bar dining. Its offering is presented around Japanese food and includes a Japanese aperitivo element, adding a drinks-led aspect to the restaurant’s identity. The setting is appropriate for a casual meal, a planned table booking or a stop connected to the surrounding Neve Tzedek area. The Shabazi Street address places the restaurant within one of the city’s established central neighborhoods, where dining, retail and cultural venues share the same local setting.
Okinawa also operates with several formats beyond seated dining. Table reservations are available, while takeaway and delivery services extend the restaurant’s menu beyond the dining room. The restaurant lists delivery coverage for Tel Aviv and surrounding areas, as well as a separate takeaway option. Event services are also part of the offering, making the venue relevant for private or organized occasions as well as regular restaurant visits.
The restaurant has a second Okinawa location on Levontin Street, but the Shabazi Street branch is the Neve Tzedek address. This distinction is useful when arranging a reservation, collecting an order or selecting the correct menu. The restaurant also runs a membership program connected to offers, events and order-related benefits, providing an additional way for returning diners to engage with the brand.
Okinawa suits sushi fans, diners seeking Japanese cuisine and people looking for a restaurant with dine-in, takeaway, delivery and event options in Neve Tzedek. Menu choices, dietary suitability and seating arrangements are best checked with the branch before a visit, particularly when a booking or larger occasion requires specific arrangements.
